Youth

Our programming for Middle School and Senior High youth on Sunday mornings and Friday  or Saturday nights builds on the foundation laid in our children’s ministries. Using small group interaction and larger group activities, our staff seeks to exalt Jesus Christ. through training the young people and providing a godly example. Students in 5th-8th grade face the tough transitional times as they move from elementary to middle school, and as they physically go from being a child to becoming a young adult. The staff understands those difficulties and uses regular programs and special activities to help them make those transitions from a godly and biblical foundation.  The JYC (6th to 9th grades) meet every other Friday night during the school year.  Special outings including bowling, concerts, and ministry are scheduled throughout the year.

High school students, in the 9th to 12th grades receive ongoing training to develop a biblical worldview, while discussing the current events and interests this generation faces. Designed to stimulate a deeper love for God’s Word and an understanding of absolute truth in the midst of a culture of ever-changing values, our youth ministries on Sunday mornings and every other Saturday evening want our young people to understand how to be in the world, but not of it.
