May 6 “Are You Toast?” 1 Corinthians 3:10-23
Most people today do not appreciate any discussion of judgment and especially of talk about Hell. However, ignoring it does not make it go away. If a doctor says you have cancer, getting mad at the doctor does not fix the problem. Accepting the diagnosis and facing it allows you to overcome it. So it is with God’s judgment on our sin.
May 13 “God’s Glorious Temple” 1 Corinthians 3:10-23
The disciples thought Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem was stunning, but in a few years it was destroyed. God is building a temple far more glorious that will never be destroyed, a temple made out of living stones, not material rocks and wood.
May 20 “God’s Glorious Triumph” 1 Corinthians 3:10-23
Let all the scientists and philosophers of this world think they have won the day by excluding God from the courtrooms and classrooms of our society. In the end, their so-called wisdom will be manifest for the foolishness it is as God shows Himself glorious.
May 27 “Faithful ‘til Death” 1 Corinthians 4:1-7
We live in a generation where company or team loyalty has disappeared. As Christians, we need to have that kind of commitment in the use of our gifts and talents for the Kingdom of God as good stewards.

June 17 “God’s Fathers” 1 Corinthians 4:8-17
The Apostle Paul reminded the Corinthians that, while they may have many teachers, they have just one spiritual father. God uses us as His servants to bring men and women boys and girls into His family as disciples. Are you a spiritual father?
June 24 “Are You All Talk?” 1 Corinthians 4:14-21
Before every big game or fight, some athletes run off at the mouth at how they are going to tromp the opponent. I always like the individual, when confronted with what the windbag has said, responds, “I’ll let my actions do the talking. As a Christian, are you all talk, but no power?
July 1 “Fools For Christ” 1 Corinthians 4:10-21
So, someone made fun of Christians again. It has become a common theme in our media and culture. So what? They made fun of Jesus, the Apostles, and Christians in every age. We may be fools for Christ, but remember, it is the Fool who has said in his heart, “There is no God.” I would rather be called a fool for Christ than to be a real fool.
