Metropolitan New Revival Church

In November of 2009, Metropolitan Baptist Church, in conjunction with the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association (MNYBA) added a third language group to our ministry in Bensonhurst.  Pastor Derick Mehboob, a church planter with MNYBA, joined the pastoral staff at MBC and formed the Metropolitan New Revival Church to reach the Punjabi/Urdu/Hindi speaking people in southwest Brooklyn.  The congregation held its inaugural service on the last Sunday of December 2009.  Since then, with a wonderful band that plays the music of south-Asia and strong preaching on the power of God, this congregation has become a strong witness for Christ in this community.
