Having recently begun the process of aligning Metropolitan with the Southern Baptist Convention, the church has the privilege of working with churches from around the country in our goal to enthusiastically spread the Good News. These mission teams bring added resources and personnel, along with a burning desire to exalt Jesus Christ into the Bensonhurst community.
Through social ministries, literature distribution, physical labors, and more, they reveal the on-going concern that Metropolitan has to impact our community in positive ways so that our neighbors might see the glory of God revealed as we learn to love our neighbors as ourselves.
