The purpose of the Music Ministry at Metropolitan is to engage the inner pursuit of God’s glory within those performing the music so that, no matter what level of musicality they have, the spirit of worship overflows from the heart into the whole person resulting in deeper communion with the Lord God and with the rest of the church family, thereby leading God‘s people to worship Him with their whole being through a seamless flow of corporate praise, prayer, and devotion using music from the past and present.
God gave music to the human race as a wonderful means of declaring His glory. When those leading in the music ministry have learned to worship God from the depths of their spirits, then that worship overflows into the outward expression of their whole being. In the corporate worship experience, the ministry teams at MBC bring their passion for the glory of God into their worship using the contemporary music of the church and the traditional hymns as the means of expressing worship before the Holy and Awesome God we love and serve.
