Worship Team

“Worship the LORD with gladness;

The purpose of the Metropolitan Worship Team is to provide leadership in our services that creates an experience where God’s people worship Him with their whole being through a seamless flow of corporate praise, prayer, and devotion using music from the past and present.

 

The MBC music ministry includes live contemporary Christian music presented  by the MBC Worship Team. Utilizing piano, percussion, and five voices, as well as recorded praise and worship music, projected lyrics and backgrounds, the Worship Team presents joyful songs each week during Sunday morning worship as well as during special services and events.

 

All are encouraged to carefully consider the lyrics of the music projected upon the screen as they are biblically-based and present not only a worship opportunity but a teaching moment as well.

 

Traditional hymns are presented, as well, in a contemporary fashion utilizing piano.
